How to remove/change background from pictures

It is difficult to say that you are a tech savvy without knowing what Photoshop is or how to use it. Gone are the days where you pay someone to edit or remove picture background from your picture. These days you can even do it yourself at the comfort of your home. To do this you need an application called Photoshop. Aside using photoshop software, you can also do the background removal online.
The knowledge of photoshop usage helps you to be ahead of others both for your personal use and for earning an extra income online for yourself. Being an expert in the use of photoshop obviously makes you to be a hot cake and this article, will give the initial knowledge you will need in using photoshop.
Photoshop is an system or phone application made for photo editing, manipulation, and creation. The software has all you need to create a stunning picture that looks very professional.

For me, i did most of my editing and learning with the Adobe Photoshop Elements which is a variant of the adobe photoshop.

For the purpose of this tutorial, I will be using Photoshop Elements but you can decide to use just Photoshop it will still achieve the same results. So when you enter Photoshop there are a few tools you need to know (the quick selection tool and the lasso tool).
The above tools are the main needed tools to safely remove the background from any picture however is not the only important tool in photoshop. I can say that the selection and lasso tool are the most important to me probably because i do more of background removal in photoshop elements software.

Steps;
- Open Photoshop application if it's not already open, click on the file as in the picture below, click on open and then select the picture you want to edit.
- Once the picture you want to remove the background is imported, the photoshop will look like the below picture
- If there is a need to rotate the picture like the picture above, you will need to select the image from the option and then select rotate
- After rotating the picture, you can then start the background removal.
- For pictures that have even color, the quick selection tool will do the whole background removal for you but the image will still be locked as seen in the picture below
- To unlock, all you need is to double-click on the key and then click on the ok button
- From the picture below, the picture is now unlocked, hence you can now modify and remove the picture background
- For even pictures like the one in this tutorial, you can use only quick selection tool to remove the background. Just select the area you need to be removed from the image and press the backspace
- You will do same for all the parts of the picture that have even color.
- For all the part that have uneven color, you will need a lasso tool. All you need is to select the starting point, select the points you want to remove, go back to the starting point, and then hit the backspace button.
