Love Story: The Coffee Shop

Love Story: The Coffee Shop

Every day in the big city, there was a little coffee shop hidden on one of the side streets. They were called the "Kain bar" because Maureen was a head collector of different eras and vintage paper cups. The shop set pulled in a regular crowd, each with their own story to tell and the ambiance of fresh coffee brewing was enough for people to linger longer.

The Kain Bar sat empty one rainy afternoon when a light timid Peace walked in to escape the rain. She had just relocated to the city so she could chase that dream of wanting to become a writer, and everything new simply overwhelmed her. He ordered a cappuccino and went to sit at one of the tables by the window, trying very hard not to find inspiration in another dismal day overhang. Forest City.

Peace took silent sips of her coffee and observed a young man in the far corner. The local Kain bar where Peter played it was a song and visited every day, hence his toughin status. On the side of him was a guitar case and notebook full of lyrics and melodies. Peace became enamored with the passion and talent he exuded.

Weeks went by and Peace kept coming across Peter at The Kain. Artika smiled politely at him when he noticed the restaurant, and they made small talk every now and then but neither of them mustered up enough courage to try again. And they were both shy, and the fear of rejection clung to their hearts.

On a bright day when Peace was wrapped up in her writing, she noticed that Peter looked sadder than usual. Finally, she broke the silence and asked… “Is something wrong?

This question caught Peter off guard. Oh, it's nothing… I'm just having trouble with the perfect melody for a track that I've been working on, he admitted.

"Maybe you sing a few bars, but I'll try to give some feedback…" said Peace in her usual kind manner.

Peter smiled a bit and started humming the melody he had in mind. Peace shut her eyes and let the music flow through her. There was a moment, and she opened her eyes again: || "Agreed," Peter said. It is missing something…something like this. Peace began singing a harmonizing melody that woven itself seamlessly between Peter's.

Then their joined voices harmonized, and magi499cal shit happened. The entire coffee shop fell quiet now, and every one of us set our eyes upon the two strangers who had just swapped something spectacular. Thunders followed the claps.

Although embarrassed, Peace and Peter were ecstatic to have a confirmation that they had what seemed like an instant chemistry rather than bashfulness. Conversation and coffee were all that marked their days after. Or that the universe was bringing them together because there had been undeniable traces of chemistry blossoming between them.

At The Kain bar, where their hearts crooned for the first time together — a tale of love. They clicked instantly, becoming each other's cheerleader and so uncharacteristically became some of the forms of fuel to their passions. They created music and wrote love songs that spoke directly to the hearts of every listener.

And so, in the least expected of habitats; amidst coffee shops and city bustle – Peace & Peter found a love that was as lovely from one dimension to another — the sweetest melody ever.

Peace and Peter grow to love each other, so much that they start spending all of their time together. The refuge they found in The Kain bar, where their time together did not make them one with the city and brought on much-needed silence from it all.

But on a summer evening while fairy lights twinkled gently all around the coffee shop's patio -— he said it! he did. Looking down into the face of Peace, he said, 'Peace….you give us so much music and I'm not just talking about our projects. You have sung me a song that my heart sings whenever I look at you. Don't I just feel that we're more than songwriting partners as well.

Peter's heartfelt emotions made Peace's heart race unusually fast. She had also felt that way but was afraid to say so. She looked down, then blushed a bit as she responded "Peter you know that I have never met anyone who gets my excitement for writing like me"? Not only are you my muse, you're the song in my heart."

This confession of love symbolized the start of a heartwarming and peaceful relationship. But they walked in at the Kain Bar even now; only this time not for their coffee breaks but larger than life, on a common table to steal kisses and catch some love. The Barista and restaurant owner, Amelia looked on with a knowing smile as she felt their predestined connection from the beginning.

Their lives changed with the seasons. Peter was getting noticed, and Peace was finally prompted to write something. They blossomed into a creative power couple who fed off each other's interests, inspired one another, and fostered their aspirations along the way.

But that night, while Peace was lodging with Peter he decided to show him the other side of The Kain bar. He had the café close early and, when they arrived, a man was playing guitar softly in warm candlelight. A concert of their own, Peter playing the songs they had created and a couple lovely tunes especially for Peace.

Amelia brought them their coffee of choice and stood there glistening with a tear as the song continued to play while they danced deeper in love with each other. It was a purely happy moment and it seemed like the completion of some epic love story written by in the sky.

Over time The Kain bar was a beacon of love and the standard for Peace and Peter. So, of course, they moved into the quaint apartment just a block down from where it all happened — here we see their love brewing next to that little café.

And her love head to head with paper cups on the wall That face said it all they were great American singer-songwriters Their story is precious and wishes are granted forever. It was a beautiful exhibition of music, words, and love; the kind that began here where ordinaries like them have surely fallen in love with each other.
