How to remove/change background from pictures

Gone are the days where you pay somebody to remove picture background from your picture. These days you can even do it yourself at the comfort of your home. To do this you need an application called Photoshop. Aside using photoshop software, you can also do the background removal online.

Photoshop is an application made for photo editing, manipulation, and creation. The software has all you need to create a stunning picture and look like a professional. The mastery of photoshop software makes you a hot cake as professional photo editor and that can fetch you lots of money.

The use professional use of software is a skill on its own and if you acquire it, can earn you lots of income. To learn how to use the application, you can watch tutorial videos on YouTube, read tutorial blog posts or just download the software and learn it on your own by doing trial and error. For me, i do most of my learning via trial and error and over time, i became the master of the software.

For me, i did most of my editing and learning with the Adobe Photoshop Elements which a variant. If you have been using the photoshop which is the second variant, then i suggest that you also try the photoshop elements.

With the information you will get from this tutorial, you can decide to head over to Fiverr and create a photo editing GIG which will in turn earn you some cash in the nearest future. For me, i already have a gig on Fiverr. Incase you don't what Fiverr GIG, it is the setup of the offer you know and is willing to render it as a service to people to needs it. When setup the GIG, don't to write in detail what you intend to deliver to your prospective client and not hiding any important details because if you don't meet up with what you promised your client in your GIG description, it can attract a negative review from your prospective service buyer. Incase you think you can remove a bad review or delete the GIG as to also review the bad review on the GIG, this is not possible. I suggest that you do your best to impress your prospective client. That will be a step to have good reviews on your Fiverr GIG.

In case you are new to the word Fiverr, let me explain further, Fiverr is a platform where you deliver a particular task for someone and he/she pays you for the job rendered. For you to be relevant on Fiverr, you need a skill like the one in this tutorial. That having said, let's continue with our tutorial.

For the purpose of this tutorial, I will be using Photoshop Elements but you can decide to use just Photoshop it will still achieve the same results. So when you enter Photoshop there are a few tools you need to know (the quick selection tool and the lasso tool).

The above tools are the main needed tools to safely remove the background from any picture however is not the only important tool in photoshop. I can say that the selection and lasso tool are the most important to me probably because i do more of background removal in photoshop software.

Steps to remove the background from a picture;

Open Photoshop if it's not already open by clicking on the file and then select open
Once the picture you want to remove the background is imported, the photoshop will look like the below picture
If there is a need to rotate the picture like the picture above, you will need to select the image from the option and then select rotate
After rotating the picture, you can then start the background removal.
For pictures that have even color, the quick selection tool will do the whole background removal for you but the image will still be locked as seen in the picture below
To unlock, all you need is to double-click on the key and then click on the ok button
From the picture below, the picture is now unlocked, hence you can now modify and remove the picture background
For even pictures like the one in this tutorial, you can use only quick selection tool to remove the background. Just select the area you need to be removed from the image and press the backspace
You will do same for all the parts of the picture that have even color.
For all the part that have uneven color, you will need a lasso tool. All you need is to select the starting point, select the points you want to remove, go back to the starting point, and then hit the backspace button.
